So, it's been a few months.... Let's see what's up?
I've been working on building a pattern library of patterns I've been designing. This has been proving very tough because I've been attempting to make lace patterns. Luckily my first pattern is the Charlestowne Pineapple Blanket which is a crochet pattern with a pineapple lace stitch in the middle.

So far, I've written, had it test checked once by my good friend Christi and am currently having some free pattern testers on Ravelry try and wrap their heads around it. They've found tons of mistakes, and I've apparently made quite a few typos on it. (aka, the combination of cut-and-paste and trying to type regular drove my brain insane)
My goal for the end of the year is to try and get a website where I can start selling these!
So what else is new? J came back, and isn't home again. His socks DID wind up fitting (which was awesome! I was terribly worried that they wouldn't fit and that I'd have to start all over again). We also went to Germany/Austria and ran around for a good 2 weeks!
He keeps himself pretty busy by making some gourmet food in his hotel room. I think he should start a blog called "bachelor chow" and post all the crazy-awesome food he manages to make.... it's seriously like dinner impossible in a 3x3 ft kitchen space!!!
I've also started a KAL (knit-a-long, for you non-rav'ers) for the February Lady Sweater (it's free on Ravelry!) at the knit shop. This first KAL, is going fairly slow with some participation... hopefully when we do next month's, we'll have a few more participants.
